Kris Carr is an author, motivational speaker and wellness coach.  She has written two other books: Crazy, Sexy Cancer Tips and Crazy Sexy Cancer Survivor.

When Kris found out she had incurable cancer, she decided to take matters into her own hands.  She researched everything she could on cancer and found that you can prevent, cure and slow down cancer or most other ailments with a healthy diet, exercise and less stress.  



In Chapter 1, This is Your Wake-up Call - Pick up Gorgeous, Kris became Vegan after researching cures for cancer.  She cut out all meat, eggs and dairy. 


In Chapter 2, pHabulous, she goes over pH levels in your blood and how to test it at home.  You want your alkaline levels to be higher than your acidic levels.  She shows you which foods are more alkaline and why it is healthy.  She also shows why most fad diets are dangerous and should only be used short-term.  


In Chapter 3, Cupcakes, Coffee & Cocktails, she talks about sugar and what it does after it enters your body.  She also talks about Celiac disease and Gluten-sensitivity.


In Chapter 4, Tushie & Milk Mustaches, she shows that people were are made to be herbivores.  We have teeth like herbivores and a slower digestive tract.  When eating meat, we slow down our system even more, which could cause health problems.  Kris then gives us examples of things that we can eat instead of meat to give us protein.


In Chapter 5, Go with your gut, She talks about why it is important to not plug up your system and how to get things moving.  


In Chapter 6, Make juice, not war, she writes about different juicers and the ingredients and which ingredients are best to use.  


In Chapter 7, God pod glow, she covers meditation, stressing less, exercise, yoga, neti-pots and massage.


In Chapter 8, Getting Started, She shows you how to purge your kitchen of unhealthy foods and restock with healthy foods.


In Chapter 9, Crazy Sexy Supplements, she covers probiotics, vitamins and minerals that help you to become healthier.


In Chapter 10, Let the adventure cleanse begin, She gives you a detailed 21-day cleanse schedule you can follow to detox your body.
